Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your product must meet the following criteria:
- Return request raised within 7 days of delivery
- Product in unused and original condition
- Original packaging, manufacturer seal, accessories, manuals, charger, and warranty card intact
- IMEI / serial number matches the original shipment
- Proof of purchase (order number) available
Items Eligible for Return
Returnable Items:
- Smartphones (sealed, unactivated)
- Laptops & tablets (factory sealed)
- Wireless earbuds & headphones (sealed, unused)
- Smart watches & fitness bands (sealed)
- Air conditioners (uninstalled, unused)
- Mobile accessories (cases, chargers, cables — unused)
Non-Returnable Items:
For hygiene, safety, and warranty reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened, activated, or used:
- Smartphones with broken seal or activated SIM
- Laptops & tablets that have been powered on, registered, or had software installed
- Used earbuds, headphones, or earphones (hygiene reasons)
- Installed air conditioners or appliances (manufacturer policy)
- Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page
- Products damaged due to customer misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized repair
- Software licenses, prepaid recharges, or digital activation codes
- Free gifts or promotional items received with the order
How to Initiate a Return
Returning a product is simple. Just follow these steps:

Step 2: Provide Return Details
Please include:
- Order number (e.g., #SHOP12345)
- Product name, model, and IMEI/serial number
- Reason for return (defective, wrong product, change of mind, etc.)
- Photos / unboxing video of the product (if damaged or defective)
- Your contact number and pickup address
Step 3: Return Approval
Our team will review your request within 24 hours and confirm the return via email/WhatsApp. You’ll receive:
- Return approval confirmation
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Pickup schedule details
Step 4: Schedule Pickup
We arrange reverse pickup through our courier partners. The pickup is usually scheduled within 2-3 business days of approval. On the pickup day:
- Ensure the product is properly packed in original box
- Include all accessories, charger, cable, warranty card, and free gifts
- Hand over the package to the courier agent
- Collect the pickup receipt with tracking ID
Step 5: Quality Check
Once we receive the product, our quality team inspects it to ensure:
- Product matches the original shipment (IMEI/serial verified)
- Condition is unused and intact
- All items are included
- No damage due to customer misuse
Quality check typically takes 2-3 business days.
Step 6: Refund Processing
After successful quality check, your refund is processed within 5-7 working days.
Refund Process
Since Shop X operates on Cash on Delivery, refunds are processed through alternative methods:
Refund Methods:
- Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS): Direct transfer to your bank account
- UPI Transfer: Quick refund to your UPI ID (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay)
- Store Credit: Credit your Shop X account for future purchases (optional, with 5% bonus)

Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, we take full responsibility. Please:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Share clear photos/video of the damaged product and packaging
- Provide order number and product details (with IMEI/serial)
- We will arrange immediate replacement or full refund
For damaged or defective items, you get:
- Full refund (including shipping charges)

Wrong Product Delivered
If you received a different product than what you ordered:

Manufacturer Warranty
All branded products sold by Shop X come with their respective manufacturer warranty (Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, HP, Lenovo, boAt, LG, Hitachi, etc.). For warranty-related issues that arise after the 7-day return window:

Return Shipping Charges
Free Return Pickup:
We offer FREE return pickup in the following cases:
- Damaged or defective products
- Wrong product delivered
- Product significantly different from description

Paid Return:
In the following cases, return shipping charges may apply:
- Change of mind returns (₹100-200 per order, depending on product weight)

Delivery Refusal:
